- Resolution: 5 dB steps (clinical audiometers may test at 1-2 dB steps for threshold seeking)
- Frequency range: 125-8000 Hz (does not include extended high frequencies)
- No calibration: This is software only; it cannot calibrate equipment
- No real-time testing: Does not present tones or measure responses
- Manual entry only: No integration with audiometric equipment
6.2 Clinical Limitations
- Does not assess speech audiometry (SRT, WRS, etc.)
- Does not include tympanometry or acoustic reflexes
- Does not evaluate auditory processing or vestibular function
- Cannot determine hearing aid candidacy (requires comprehensive evaluation)
- Does not account for non-organic hearing loss or malingering
